The St. Paul’s Hospital School of Nursing brought a legacy of educational excellence to our Hospital that continues to live on today. The deep commitment and dedication of the students of St. Paul’s Hospital School of Nursing played an integral role in shaping our Hospital and mentoring others in the Mission of the Grey Nuns. From its inception in 1909 to its closing sixty years later, the School of Nursing graduated 2057 nurses and gained an enviable reputation for the quality of its visionary and pioneering graduates. Nursing students embodied the Grey Nuns' spirit with their school motto: "In Minimus Perfectio - I shall be perfect even in little things".
