Thank You Sarah McLachlan Fans!

A sold-out Cameco Cares concert with Sarah McLachlan in the Delta Bessborough Gardens helped to raise more than $240,000 in support of First Nations and Metis Health at St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation.

“We are so very grateful to everyone who attended the concert and to all those who provided additional charitable support,” said Bruce Acton, St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation CEO. “We are especially grateful to Cameco  for hosting this amazing event and making a significant positive difference in our community.

Proceeds from the event will support a Nitisanak Navigator who will provide culturally sensitive, holistic health care support to First Nations and Métis patients in the Emergency Room at St. Paul’s Hospital. The Navigator will act as a translator and patient advocate, helping patients navigate the health care system and assisting with accessing community services and resources to ensure continuity of care.

Special thanks to the following for providing additional charitable support: SaskTel Centre, MD Ambulance, Graham Construction, PotashCorp, Kreos Aviation/PIC Investment, MLT, Assante Financial Mgt, EY, Des Nedhe, McDougall Gauley, AREVA, DCG Philanthropic Services, Points Athabasca.
