Hospice and End-of-Life Care

Support End-of-Life Care at the Hospice at Glengarda and St. Paul’s Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit.

The Hospice has 15 bright and beautiful individual rooms, providing 24-hour care for patients requiring full-time, hands-on care at end of life. Our multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Continuing Care Assistants, as well as a Social Worker, Music Therapist, Spiritual Care Specialist, Palliative Arts Specialist, and Life Enhancement Guide uses a collaborative approach to individualize care based on the needs of patients and their loved ones.

The Hospice at Glengarda was built for our community, by our community, through the generosity of donors who supported The Close to Home Campaign for Hospice and End of Life Care.

Today, donors continue to support the provision of:

  • Refreshments like tea and coffee

  • Gardening supplies

  • Games, puzzles, and technology

  • Art supplies and musical instruments

  • Seasonal décor and artwork to personalize patient rooms and common areas

  • Creative materials used for legacy projects such as memory boxes, and

  • For patients’ requests such as the purchase of special food items, facilitation of milestone events, and organization of family activities.

The experiences we are able to support for patients and families thanks to donor generosity are truly priceless. To give today, click the green donate button at the top of this page or call our office at 306.655.5821.
